Creating New Albums and Folders

With AlbumFiler, you can quickly create new albums and folders.

New Album

Follow these steps to create a new album in Photos.

  1. Choose New Album from the Action Menu or press Command-N to display the New Album sheet.

  2. Enter the name of the new album.

  3. If desired, choose a folder to place the album underneath. If you don't specify a folder, the album will be created at the root level.

  4. Click OK.

New Folder

Follow these steps to create a new folder in Photos.

  1. Choose New Folder from the Action Menu or press Shift-Command-N to display the New Folder sheet.

  2. Enter the name of the new folder.

  3. If desired, choose a folder to place the folder underneath. If you don't specify a folder, the folder will be created at the root level.

  4. Click OK.
