# Commands

You can send the following commands to AlbumFiler using AppleScript.

* **reload albums and folders**: Reload the list of albums and folders from Photos. Returns true if the items were loaded properly or false.
* **is smart album**: Returns true if the passed in item ID refers to a user-generated smart album or false if not.
* **update items** (items list): Sends a complete list of folders and albums to display in AlbumFiler. Used internally to generate the list of items shown in the app.
